This garment is (partly) made of linen. It is derived from one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world, flax. Flax plants require no or little fertilizers and irrigation and can be grown on marginal land unsuitable for food production. Linen fibres are long, meaning the fabric is resistant, long-lasting and ages beautifully.
