"Leather is uniquely durable, ages gracefully, and its natural irregularities enhance its beauty. With proper care, your leather garment can last for generations."
Leather Care Guide
Leather develops a distinguished patina over time and is truly durable and stands the test of time. Made from tanned animal hides, its texture varies from soft to robust depending on the source. We exclusively use chrome-free leather to avoid the harmful environmental and health impacts of chromium, a heavy metal used in traditional tanning. Our leather comes from a gold-rated tannery by the Leather Working Group (LWG), ensuring ethical practices from farm to factory in Turkey. This short, local, and transparent supply chain minimizes our environmental footprint and allows us to continuously improve our practices.
Care Instructions:
- Protection: Keep leather away from humidity, rain, heat, and chemicals. If wet, air dry at room temperature.
- Avoid Damage: Protect from sharp objects and surfaces that could scratch or damage the leather.
- Air Out: Allow leather items to air out after wearing and avoid direct sunlight.
- Emergency Cleaning: For light stains or cleaning, gently wipe with a slightly moistened cloth.
- Professional Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, take your leather items to a specialist leather dry cleaner.
- Conditioning: Use a leather conditioner to maintain suppleness. Apply a small amount with a cloth and work it in gently.
- Travel Tip: Roll up your leather piece to prevent wrinkles during travel.
With proper care, your leather garments will remain beautiful and enduring for generations.
