COTTON

"Cotton is one of the world's most versatile and popular fabrics. With proper care, your garments will stay in great shape for years."

Cotton Care Guide

Cotton is a natural fiber harvested from the cotton plant’s boll. We prioritize Organic Cotton, grown with eco-friendly practices like crop rotation and no toxic pesticides or synthetic chemicals. This method enhances biodiversity, protects farmers' health, and ensures better market access and prices for farmers. Organic cotton is breathable, easy to care for, and comfortable to wear.

Care Instructions:
  • Check the Label: Always follow specific care instructions on the label. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can dull the finish.
  • Washing: Cotton can generally be washed by machine. To prevent shrinking and fading, wash at 30°C. This is also more eco-friendly due to lower energy use. Wash cotton items inside out and use a laundry bag for delicate garments to prevent damage.
  • Stain Treatment: Treat stains with a stain remover before washing. For dark garments, test the stain remover on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t affect the color.
  • Drying: Air dry cotton items to avoid shrinking from tumble drying. Air drying is also energy-efficient and eco-friendly.
  • Ironing: Iron cotton on low heat while the fabric is slightly damp.

Special Notes:

  • Corduroy: Wash corduroy inside out. Avoid ironing to prevent crushing the ribbed texture; instead, opt for steaming.
  • Denim: Wash denim inside out to maintain colorfastness. Minimize washing and avoid tumble drying to prevent shrinkage. Use caution with powder detergents on dark denim as they may cause stains.

By following these care tips, you can keep your cotton garments looking their best and extend their lifespan.
